About the role

The Consumer Comms Manager will help devise and implement the Consumer Comms strategy and activations with the support of external PR & Influencer agencies. This role is best suited to a communications expert who embraces creative thinking, is curious, adapts to a constantly evolving industry and can manage multiple projects and internal stakeholders simultaneously.

The role is based in our central french offices in Paris.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Communications & Brand Social, you will:

  • Manage day to day press and influencer relations (national & local TV, radio, lifestyle, professional & trade media) and identify key contacts and new editorial opportunities in French press to build and nurture relationships.
  • Work with the agency on consumer insight-led creative ideas and communications strategies to support new partner, service or product announcements in a way that makes them exciting to media and customers.
  • Day to day collaboration with external PR & Influencer agencies, in particular on ideation, story planning, journalist or influencer follow up & reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with local Marketing, Commercial and Ops teams to ensure comms ideas support market-level goals and strategic priorities.
  • Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to approve campaigns and new product development when relevant.
  • Draft responses and statements for media enquiries where needed.
  • Support the planning & execution of big PR stunts, events or partnerships to support marketing moments or business priorities.
  • Draft engaging copy (press releases, social, in app & CRM) to support comms activations across multiple channels.

  • 3-5 years of experience developing and launching consumer-facing campaigns (ideally within a high-growth, consumer-facing brand).
  • Fluent English and Native French
  • You will be attuned to setting KPIs, evaluating and improving the success of campaigns to report on this internally.
  • You are a natural team player who loves food and understands the role it can play in culture.
