We’re looking for a Site Merchandising and Customer Experience Associate to join our UAE team. In this role, you’ll help us optimise product and range in app to drive traffic, conversion and customer engagement and retention.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the HOP team. Deliveroo Hop is Deliveroo's 24/7 supermarket - a digital-only experience that allows customers to shop online for all of their groceries, ingredients, household essentials & more, on-demand, and delivered to them in minutes.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Defining how selection is curated and highlighted to customers - aligning to key seasonal moments and marketing campaigns - to create and manage the in app merchandising calendar for Hop;
Managing the promotional calendar for the Hop business; working closely with vendor managers, instock and pricing teams to ensure the best possible customer experience, whilst protecting profitability;
Monitoring and maintaining strong Item Data Quality across total catalogue to support improved discoverability and conversion;
Coordinating stakeholders across multiple functions to execute best in class seasonal events - aligned to platform-wide seasonal campaigns and market activity;
Curation of vendor/external-facing content (pitch decks) to maximise performance of the key seasonal moments - creating opportunities to monetise in app assets and placements;
Analytical review of merchandising and promotional campaigns to ensure continued optimisation of strategies.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
2+ years in marketing and/or commercial roles
Experience interacting with suppliers to high standards
Proven ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously with effective prioritisation
Experience building internal and external stakeholder relationships to drive results
Confident in presenting ideas to multiple stakeholders
Experience managing a budget preferred
Proven experience in cross-functional and international stakeholder collaboration
Problem solver with a can-do attitude, happy to work autonomously
Self-starter attitude that's comfortable with constant change and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll thrive in a new environment where you have the opportunity to shape your role within a new team
