We’re a team of specialists across People Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Development, Inclusion, People Operations, and more. Whether it’s helping leaders navigate change, hiring for growth, simplifying processes, or supporting career development, we’re there.

Recruitment

We’re the team behind the people who build Deliveroo. From the first conversation to day one and beyond, our recruitment team makes sure the right people find the right roles at the right time.

We’re made up of Recruiters, Sourcers, Recruitment Coordinators, Recruitment Managers, and Operations Specialists, including folks focused on Employer Branding, Coordination, and Recruitment Programs. Each of us plays a part in creating a thoughtful, efficient, and inclusive hiring experience.

Our Sourcers proactively connect with future talent. Recruiters guide candidates through the journey, while Coordinators keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Our Managers lead with clarity and care, ensuring hiring standards stay high. And our Recruitment Operations team? They’re the glue, streamlining systems, sharing our employer brand, and shaping how we scale.

HRBP

People are at the heart of everything we do and our Core HR Business Partnering team helps make sure those people thrive.

This team spans HR Advisors, HRBPs, and HR Directors, working closely with every part of the business. Whether it’s supporting an individual through a tricky situation or partnering with leaders to plan for the future, we’re here to guide, challenge, and empower.
We don’t just handle policies, we help shape how people experience work at Deliveroo. Our HR Advisors are often the first stop for day-to-day people support. Our HR Business Partners bring insights and data to help teams grow in the right way, and our Directors lead with a big-picture view, aligning people strategies with business goals. We stay close to the action so we can respond quickly, think long-term, and always keep our people front and centre.

Learning and Development

Learning is a big part of how we work, and our L&D team makes sure it’s something everyone can access, wherever they are in the world.

This team designs and delivers learning experiences that help people grow in their roles, develop new skills, and lead with confidence. From onboarding and career development to inclusion and leadership, they shape how learning shows up across Deliveroo.
They also manage the systems and tools that bring this learning to life—so it’s not just relevant, but scalable. It’s all about helping our people learn what they need, when they need it.

Reward

Our Reward team helps make sure people at Deliveroo are recognised, supported, and set up for success—wherever they are in the world.

They look after everything from how we pay and reward our teams, to the benefits that support wellbeing, to the share plans that let employees grow with the company. The team includes specialists in compensation, benefits, global mobility, and executive reward—each bringing deep expertise to help us stay competitive and fair. Their work isn’t just about numbers. It’s about designing reward experiences that reflect our values, support life at Deliveroo, and help attract and retain great people.

People Operations

Our People Operations team keeps the engine running behind the scenes—so our people experience is seamless, reliable, and built to scale.

This team covers everything from managing the tech that powers our HR systems, to running payroll, supporting employee queries, and delivering major change programmes. It brings together operations managers, transformation specialists, systems experts, and our people services team—all working as one.

They make sure the foundations are solid, so our people can focus on doing their best work. Whether it’s launching a new platform or rolling out global changes, they’re the team turning complexity into clarity.

Employee Comms

Our Employee Communications team helps everyone at Deliveroo stay informed, connected, and inspired.

They work across all parts of the business—partnering with leaders and teams to shape how we share updates, celebrate wins, and navigate change. Whether it’s crafting comms for a product launch, a major milestone, or a new way of working, they make sure the message lands clearly and consistently. It’s not just about what we say—it’s how we bring people along with us. This team helps turn business strategy into stories people can connect with.

ED&I

At Deliveroo, our equity, diversity and inclusion team is essential for helping us build a better business. 

They partner with teams across the company to embed inclusion into how we hire, lead, and grow. From shaping strategy to advising on day-to-day decisions, they work to create an environment where everyone can thrive.
They also support and amplify our Employee Resource Groups—empowering communities, creating space for underrepresented voices, and driving meaningful change from the ground up.

Recruiter

Recruitment at Deliveroo: building the teams that build the business. Our recruiters are trusted partners to the business—whether they’re hiring for engineering, data, and product teams or for critical functions like Legal, Finance, Marketing, and People. They work closely with hiring managers to understand goals, identify great talent, and create an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish. From scaling our platform to supporting strategic growth, recruiters at Deliveroo play a key role in shaping the teams that move the business forward—fast, thoughtfully, and with real impact.

HRBP

Our HRBPs are embedded partners to teams across Deliveroo—working side by side with leaders to build high-performing, engaged, and resilient teams. They translate business strategy into people plans, support organisational change, and coach managers through complex challenges. Whether advising on structure, navigating employee relations, or helping teams grow in the right direction, HRBPs ensure we stay aligned with our values while driving performance at scale. They’re not just problem-solvers—they’re catalysts for progress.

HR Advisor

HR Advisors are the first point of contact for people-related queries across Deliveroo. They provide practical guidance to employees and managers on everything from policy to performance, helping ensure a consistent, values-led experience across the business. They support employee lifecycle processes, assist with ER case management, and work closely with HRBPs to keep things running smoothly. With a sharp eye for detail and a people-first mindset, HR Advisors make sure our teams feel supported, informed, and ready to do their best work.

Reward Partner

Reward Partners shape how we recognise and reward our people—through pay, benefits, and broader wellbeing initiatives. They design and manage total reward programmes that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with Deliveroo’s values and growth. Whether it’s supporting performance cycles, evolving our benefits offering, or advising leaders on reward decisions, they bring insight, structure, and a people-first approach to everything they do—ensuring we reward in ways that attract great talent and help them thrive.

Payroll Analyst

Payroll Analysts play a vital role in ensuring a smooth, accurate payroll experience for Deliveroo employees around the world. They manage data inputs, support monthly processing, and resolve payroll-related queries with care and precision.
Working closely with People Operations, Finance, and external providers, they help ensure compliance with local regulations and deliver a seamless, reliable service that our people can count on—every single pay cycle.

People Services Advisor

People Services Advisors are the engine behind our day-to-day people operations. They manage core processes across the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and changes to off-boarding—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a great experience at every step. They’re the go-to for people queries, systems updates, and process improvements—working closely with teams across Deliveroo to deliver efficient, reliable support that helps our people focus on what they do best.

People Change Manager

People Change Managers lead the people side of transformation at Deliveroo—ensuring we evolve at pace while bringing our teams with us. They plan and deliver change initiatives across structures, processes, and systems, always with a focus on clarity, communication, and impact. Working closely with leaders, HR, and cross-functional partners, they help shape change strategies, manage risks, and support teams through transition—making sure we grow in ways that are sustainable, inclusive, and aligned with our values.

A day in the life of a Recruiter looking after our Corporate Functions at Deliveroo

Meet Nathan, a Recruiter at Deliveroo. Walk with him through a typical day as he as he partners with hiring managers, scouts top talent, and keeps the candidate experience running smoothly.

8.30am - Heading to the office

Taking the district line train to Cannon Street — and delighted that the sun is out!

9.15am - Starting the day

This morning I kept it light with a banana and protein bar (thank you Deliveroo for the free breakfast 💪) before diving into my e-mails and Slack messages.

10:00am - Taking calls with candidates

Taking my first set of candidate calls from the garden pods. These calls are a chance for me to get to know our candidates and share lots more about us and how we work.

12:00pm - Lunchtime

Supporting our People team’s referral lunch. Our referral lunch is a casual drop-in session where you can learn more about our employee referral scheme, hear success stories, and get tips on how to make great referrals.

It’s also a chance to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with the team. And yes there’ll be free pizza and cupcakes for everyone!

1:15pm - Catchup

Sometimes the best ideas happen off the desk. This afternoon we swapped screens for beanbags to rethink and refresh our approach to upcoming recruitment networking events.

Our focus: connecting with exceptional talent from a variety of backgrounds and sharing what makes Deliveroo an exciting place to build a career.

2:00pm - Time to present our interviewer training

Hosting this week’s interview training — a must before anyone starts interviewing.

4:30pm - Interview Debrief with the team

At the end of every interview process, we hold a debrief. It’s a chance for everyone who interviewed the candidate to come together, share feedback openly, and make sure our hiring decisions are fair and consistent.

Today I’m leading the session with the team (that’s us in the photo!), making sure every perspective is heard and that we’re keeping the process free from bias.

6:30pm - Time to go home

Wrapped up the to-do list after paint ’n sip, then headed home. A busy day but feeling productive!
