- Commercial jobs
From bringing new local businesses on board to ensuring value for money for our consumers, no two days are the same for our commercial teams. By shaping our strategy, hitting our targets and interpreting data in real-time, you will make sure we stay competitive and play to win. Within commercial, you’ll find a huge range of roles, including sales, strategy, account management and grocery.

Be part of shaping challenging new policy areas across a diverse range of operating environments around the world, and make sure our story is clearly expressed and understood. You might be picking up the phone to journalists, planning a global announcement, or working with leadership to engage with our audiences on critical issues.
- Customer Care jobs
Made up of determined problem-solvers, our Care teams interact with consumers, partners and riders to provide constant support. Working directly with the customer every day, you’ll be thinking on your feet as you put deep knowledge of the business and the neighbourhood into action, and help to keep millions of orders moving.

Our Finance team develops the strategy and tools to support one of the world’s biggest and most complex marketplaces. Your analysis could be helping business leaders make critical decisions in a new and emerging industry, or ensuring we have the funds we need to invest in groundbreaking new initiatives.

Our award-winning Legal team is at the cutting edge of law for a pioneering new business model. As part of the team, you’ll be shaping and changing an industry across multiple markets – for example, our partnership with GMB Union to advance the rights of workers in the ‘gig economy’. As well as keeping the business compliant and protected, we provide strategic legal advice across all areas.

Within marketing, you’ll be shaping the way Deliveroo’s brand connects with our consumers and partners. Our approach is both local and hyperlocal, focused on highly-tailored advertising, rider marketing, and specific offers encouraging discovery – to help consumers find a deal that delights them. You will be diving into the data to come up with creative ideas for launching new concepts, optimising promotions for our retail and restaurant partners, or even our next TV advert.

The Operations team is at the heart of innovation, taking ideas and making them a reality. Our teams grow and operate new offers like Editions and HOP, our dark kitchens and rapid delivery grocery service – everything from the day-to-day running of a site to fixing tech problems on the go. At the same time, we’re making sure our riders are onboarded, on the move and earning – across 10+ countries.

We’re a group of designers, researchers, localisation specialists and innovators. We work on every aspect of our consumer’s experience – before, during and after their order. We’re also creating tools to optimise restaurants’ and retailers’ daily operations, and give them ways to understand and reach new customers. We meet with riders, hear their stories and work alongside complex systems to build the tools that allow our delivery network to function.

You’ll be working throughout the company – in product, business and platform teams – using analysis, experimentation, causal inference and machine learning techniques, in combination with visualisation and storytelling, to enable the highest quality human and machine decision-making.

What our people say
Working in Tech at Deliveroo I’ve always been able to make a real impact on our services and products – it’s one of the reasons that I wouldn’t be anywhere else. Our engineers work closely with Product, and get to have our say on the roadmaps and how we tackle problems. Once a year we organise a Hackathon, this is always a great opportunity to get involved and to take our ideas into production. This year, I even got to write code myself again, something that I don’t get to do very often as a manager these days!
As part of the New Verticals team, I’ve had the opportunity to work on brand new projects from start to finish, such as launching Shopping and Gifting to customers and opening up exciting growth journeys for Deliveroo. I get to work on the full lifecycle of a project from conception to delivery, with colleagues across Technology, Product, Data & Science.
Being at Deliveroo has given me an unbelievable range of opportunities. From looking after rider operations in 6 cities, I was able to take on national responsibility and work on projects with global reach. Deliveroo arranged a 6-month external secondment at a national restaurant chain during which I managed their delivery business, before returning to Deliveroo to join our Tech org and experience Product Management. At Deliveroo, we tackle so many innovative problems across all sides of the marketplace so there are always opportunities to keep learning!
As an MLE at Deliveroo, I feel empowered to improve the company’s services and products. Our engineers have end-to-end ownership of the life-cycle of the Machine Learning models, work closely with the product teams, have a material influence on the roadmap and are responsible for solving interesting problems that arise from our three-sided marketplace.
Working as the Product Manager for Consumer Search at Deliveroo involves handling a high-complexity product. This role presents rewarding opportunities to make a significant impact for our customers.
