Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in Italy partner closely with global functions such as product, technology and consumer to deliver results for our customers.

About the role
This role sits within the Italy Marketing team and will report into the Head of Marketing Italy. The role will support the entire team in developing and overseeing the customer strategy and plan for Italy, as well as providing thought leadership to the Italy Marketing team. The role is based in Milan.

You’re analytical. You’re proficient in data analysis tools and techniques to synthesise complex information and turn this into actionable insights and plans.
You simplify and prioritise. We have many messages to communicate so simplification and strong governance is crucial. This role will lead the overall marketing calendar and will be responsible for creating and owning processes around decision making.
You’re a strong communicator. You’ll be able to build trust and influence with peers and stakeholders, communicate effectively upwards and downwards, and be able to confidently communicate your vision.
Growth mindset. You’ll lead the charge on identifying strategic growth opportunities, and work cross functionally across the organisation to execute on them.
Key responsibilities
Yearly and Quarterly Marketing Planning: own, develop and deliver the overall consumer proposition strategy, with a strong ability to use data and insight to create a simple and clear narrative that fuels a set of objectives for teams to work toward.
Managing our customer plan: act as gatekeeper to our plan, making sure all initiatives tie back to the strategy and objectives set out, and budget and resources are prioritised accordingly.
Monthly business review: diagnose monthly performance through synthesising data and insights across all areas of the business, and develop a clear set of recommendations to guide future decision making.
Strategic project leadership: identify strategic growth opportunities across the business relative to customer and business insight, and work cross functionally to build a plan and vision against opportunities identified.
Requirements
8+ years in marketing strategy or management consultancy
Experience communicating with senior leadership
Strong analytical skills, and comfortable solving ambiguous problems, experience with BI Tools is a plus (e.g. Looker)
Ability to work well independently and as part of a cross functional team
