Senior HRBP (Maternity Cover 12 Month FTC)

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will report into the VP, HR for Technology, but you will partner with Engineering leaders, and support them on their HR needs.
You will be comfortable building, delivering and advocating HR best practice for a scaled business who need strategically minded and delivery-focused HR Partners to get ahead of people related challenges.
This role is based in our London HQ office, which also offers hybrid and flexible working.
Responsibilities:
Provide senior business leaders with practical advice and coaching in running all People-related elements of their business.
Understand your department's business goals, to build and deliver a People plan to achieve the desired, aligned strategic outcome.
Partner with leaders to lead large change programs, helping the business scale - understand and support the opportunities and challenges for their teams
Collaborate with People Operations, Compensation, Recruiting, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Internal Communications, and Legal teams to support thoughtful, seamless people solution delivery
Cultivate a strong and balanced leadership team building their soft skills with regular communication and learning exchanges
Provide insights on organisational health (e.g. attrition, gender representation, takeaways from engagement survey, etc.) and recommendations for improvement.
Drive successful execution and outcomes of cyclical people programmes across a business area (e.g. performance and compensation reviews, workforce planning, etc)
Oversee all process management for employee relations and investigation case work are adhered to across the team, handled fairly, consistently and in a timely manner.
Lead on senior, complex or escalated employee relation case work and Investigations
Requirements:
Understands important financial metrics and how people practices add financial value to a department
Excellent partner management skills with direct exposure to senior leadership teams
Experience successfully building, implementing and improving people programmes, including performance review processes, talent development programmes, and HR policies and practices
Exhibits structured critical thinking, making data-backed decisions when faced with tough difficult trade offs or uncertainty.
Represents our values for innovation, playing to win, and can manage their energy effectively to consistently deliver under predictable and high-pressure situations alike
Expertise in developing talent to achieve growth goals
Knowledge of relevant UK & India labour laws regulations and employment standards.
Collaborative and able to tailor communication style to different stakeholders
