The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to support our VP of Finance & Strategy in driving high-impact initiatives and ensuring a consistent financial planning and strategic approach across all of Deliveroo’s core markets – including UKI, France, Italy, and the Middle East.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role requiring a strong blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, and cross-cultural coordination. You will act as a critical partner to both local market teams and central leadership, enabling alignment, visibility, and decision-making at pace.
What you’ll be doing
Evolve business review processes to ensure standardisation of monthly inputs to ensure consistency of story-telling of performance and plans across all markets with an action oriented approach to focus areas
Evolve other market processes as required to ensure comprehensive and consistent levels of controls implemented across all markets ie. commercial appraisal forum or commercial approvals
Own the central weekly business review reporting, working with FP&A and Data Science to ensure data integrity in weekly reports and supporting the evolution of the dashboards to enable focused weekly review meetings
Ensure cross market alignment on all finance processes, including month end, quarter end, year end reporting and planning cycles to ensure deadlines are communicated and adhered to and output is standardised across all markets, ensuring continuous improvement
Deliver market focused analysis for CFO, Board and Investor Relation packs, ensuring consistency in calculations on market dynamics ie. impact of holidays and seasonal moments or RTR bridges etc.
Support with building & maintenance of standardised tools to support markets in the delivery of their finance processes ie. outlook models for short-term forecasting
Work collaboratively with Data Sceince to optimise Machine Learning forecasting tools and help drive consistency across markets
Support the VP F&S markets with ad hoc projects and analysis, including organisation of team meetings and events
Requirements
7+ years’ experience in an international fast growth business with experience in retail, marketplace, logistics or tech
Proven ability to drive cross-market or international commercial finance processes
Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Executive-level communication skills; able to influence and align senior stakeholders
Deep understanding of P&L management, business KPIs, and commercial levers
Experience in a marketplace, logistics or tech business is a strong plus
