We’re looking for a Senior Client Platform Engineer who is excited about building scalable platforms, leveraging modern management tools to secure and manage our global fleet of endpoints all whilst providing a delightful and frictionless user experience.
You will play a pivotal role in securing, enhancing, and maintaining our endpoint management infrastructure across various operating systems. Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for our growing device fleet, you will partner closely with others in Enterprise Systems Engineering, Security and cross-functional partners to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of complex engineering projects that improve the security, reliability, compliance, and automation of the device fleet.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Automation: Be a relentless advocate for automation, continuously seeking opportunities to eliminate manual work through tool building and process automation.
Strategy and Support: Be a part of the team that owns and evolves the strategic roadmap for our endpoint management platforms, including software packaging, patching, and device management. Provide advanced support and lead troubleshooting efforts for app device platforms.
Collaboration: Actively partner with internal stakeholders (Security, Enterprise Systems Engineering, etc.) to fulfil their needs and provide technical expertise.
Required Skills and Experience
Specifying the technical skills, languages, and frameworks needed for the position is critical. We seek candidates who have the competence and mindset required for the role, avoiding ambiguous terms like "familiar with".

Endpoint Management Tooling: Proven success and experience with open-source endpoint management tooling for application management and telemetry, such as Munki, Nudge, osquery, and AutoPkg.
Security: Strong experience with security tools, including EDR tools (like CrowdStrike, Cortex), vulnerability management, and patch management. Solid understanding and experience with Identity & Access Management systems with conditional access control.
Soft Skills: A self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, consistently demonstrating a user-first mindset and a commitment to creating exceptional user experiences. This includes effectively diagnosing complex technical issues and collaborating with diverse teams to implement solutions.
