What you'll be doing:
You’ll be using your sales and communication skills to get restaurants across Singapore signed on to the Deliveroo platform. You will help hunt down the most popular local restaurants, seek to understand their business, and use your negotiation and selling skills, both on the phone and in-person, to convince them why they need to join us in our mission to change the landscape of the food industry.
Your role will include, but not limited to:
High levels of daily cold call activity contacting partnership leads, presenting opportunities to partners with Deliveroo
Owning and maintaining a consistent pipeline, to exceed monthly sales targets
Utilizing business templates and proposals to convert pipeline to sales
Maintaining records to provide transparency on all sales activities via the CRM
Passionately representing Deliveroo and resolving customer objections
Negotiating partnership pricing to ensure business objectives are achieved
Potentially be the first boots on the ground to build new business vertical leveraging existing functions in a bespoke go-to market project
Skills you’ll need:
You’ll be comfortable on the phone and walking into retail food and non-food establishments, talking to people and building rapport with them quickly
Comfort with high levels of activity and a fast-paced environment
Familiar with data-driven conversations and digital ads sales is a plus
Closing sales: getting buy in and agreement from potential customers
Experience and confidence pitching things you’re passionate about
Experience with technology and capturing your activity in a CRM
You’ll have an interest in all things food and restaurants. Deliveroo is a company of people unapologetically passionate about what they do – if you’re not into food, you soon will be.
Perseverance and grit – you’re a hustler, and you’re not afraid of rejection
Top notch people skills – you have bags of emotional intelligence and can persuade even the toughest of prospects
Fluent in English and Mandarin is a plus
