Purpose of the job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized ODG + Retail Associate to support Deliveroo’s On-Demand Grocery (ODG) and Retail function. This role combines content management, operational support, and data accuracy, ensuring a structured product catalogue while optimizing in-store fulfilment efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Google Sheets, and the ability to manage product listings efficiently while ensuring data integrity. They will also play a key role in tracking picker performance, improving order fulfilment, and providing on-site operational support at store locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Management & Product Data Quality
Build and maintain a clean, structured product database, ensuring accuracy in item names, descriptions, images, and categorization.
Ensure data integrity across different systems, working with internal teams to implement best practices in catalogue management.
Audit pricing, promotions, and stock availability, flagging discrepancies to Account Managers.
Assist in product onboarding and catalogue updates for new partners.
Optimize searchability and categorization to enhance customer experience.
Operational & Store Performance Support
Conduct regular store visits to assess picker efficiency, fulfilment accuracy, and store compliance with Deliveroo procedures.
Track store B10 metrics (amended orders, missing items, cancellations, substitutions) and propose corrective actions.
Train store pickers on Deliveroo’s order fulfilment process, focusing on order prioritization, substitution handling, and picking accuracy.
Ensure in-store hardware (tablets, POS systems) is functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues with store staff.
Data Analysis & System Management
Use Google Sheets, Excel, and internal tools to maintain an up-to-date database for pricing, availability, and content management.
Generate reports on SKU performance, pricing trends, and fulfilment metrics to assist Account Managers.
Work with Tech and Operations teams to improve data workflows and system efficiency.
Identify patterns in operational issues and content inaccuracies, providing proactive solutions.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work with Account Managers, Operations, and Marketing teams to execute campaigns, pricing updates, and content improvements.
Coordinate with store staff to ensure smooth order fulfilment and troubleshoot catalogue or operational issues in real time.
Provide real-time updates on pricing, stock issues, and content categorization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, automation).
Experience in managing databases, product catalogues, or content management systems (CMS).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in both data management and operational performance.
Knowledge of inventory management, pricing audits, and data hygiene best practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in e-commerce, grocery, or retail is a plus.
Valid driver’s license & own car (fuel allowance provided) for store visits.
