Role overview
As Head of Sales – France, you’ll be responsible for driving the success of your business unit across the French market — delivering an exceptional experience for our users while building a strong and sustainable foundation for Deliveroo’s growth.
Strategy: You’ll define strategic priorities, build roadmaps, and make financial decisions, being fully accountable for sales performance.
Team Leadership: You’ll lead a large field sales team: 50+ individuals who help grow Deliveroo’s presence across France. We’re looking for optimistic, enthusiastic leaders who know how to develop people and build high-performing, resilient teams — both essential to our long-term success.
Process Optimization: Deliveroo moves fast and scales quickly. You’ll have the opportunity to design and refine business processes — for example, developing new reporting tools to guide data-driven decisions and unlock growth opportunities.
Requirements
15+ years’ experience in Sales or Consulting, with a strong commercial track record.
Proven leadership and project management experience; able to define and execute strategy at a local or national level.
Motivated to own and grow your own business unit within Deliveroo.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Hands-on and proactive — you enjoy being close to the field and involved in day-to-day operations.
Creative and solution-oriented, eager to build initiatives that make a real impact.
Strong analytical mindset — able to make sound decisions based on data and insights.
Able to switch easily between long-term strategic thinking and immediate execution.
Highly adaptable and quick to take action.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Autonomous and curious, with a strong appetite to learn about all aspects of Deliveroo’s business and industry to become a true local expert.
A great team player, who shares best practices and contributes ideas to help the team thrive.
Genuine passion for entrepreneurship, food, and operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
Fluent in French and English.
