We’re looking for a Head of Consumer Communications France to join our Paris team on a maternity cover basis. In this role, you’ll lead the strategy and delivery of how Deliveroo is perceived by millions of consumers across PR, influencer marketing, and brand social channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Consumer Communications team. This team sits at the heart of our brand, ensuring Deliveroo remains culturally relevant and front-of-mind through creative storytelling and high-impact activations in the French market.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Lead Creative Strategy: Define the consumer communications vision for France across PR, influencer, and social (Meta, TikTok), ensuring our tone of voice is distinctive and culturally resonant.
Execute Integrated Campaigns: Oversee the planning and delivery of high-impact consumer launches, press office activity, and brand events to maximise share of voice.
Social & Content Oversight: Manage all brand content on owned social channels, including community management and paid amplification in partnership with global teams.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted partner to the French Leadership and Marketing teams, aligning communications with commercial and operational priorities.
Reputation Management: Safeguard the brand by drafting media statements and managing sensitive topics in collaboration with Corporate Comms and Public Affairs.
Team & Agency Leadership: Manage direct reports and external agencies to ensure high performance, creative excellence, and value for money.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent French and professional-level English are required.
Significant Leadership Experience: Proven track record leading integrated PR, influencer, and social campaigns for a major consumer-facing brand.
French Market Expertise: A deep understanding of the French media landscape, cultural trends, and influencer ecosystem.
Stakeholder Mastery: Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex, matrixed environments.
Creative Instinct: Strong ability to generate and spot insight-led ideas that drive brand affinity and engagement.
Nice to Have
Experience working within a high-growth technology business or global marketplace.
A genuine passion for food, culture, and the evolving digital landscape.
