Groceries Intern

The Groceries Intern will play a vital role in supporting the operational, commercial, and process-driven aspects of the Grocery vertical at Deliveroo. This role will provide hands-on experience in managing grocery and convenience partners, ensuring their seamless integration onto the platform, and optimizing their performance. The intern will work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance menu quality, streamline stock management, and activate promotional opportunities. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in account management, data analysis, operational efficiency, and commercial growth strategies.

Main Responsibilities Include:

New Partner Onboarding:

• Support in sourcing and optimizing high quality data and images for grocery partners

• Assist in menu building for grocery partners

• Build and grow database on partner SKUs and images

Existing Partner Operations:

• Monitor and actively manage grocery operational performance end to end

• Engage with partners to suggest areas for improvement

• Partner Support and Growth:

  • Manage category organization for ODC menus to improve user experience and product discoverability

  • Work with grocery partners to secure and activate promotions and offers, ensuring visibility on the platform.

  • Support with daily updates to menus, and assist in stock management

This role is ideal for individuals eager to gain experience in e-commerce, operations, and commercial strategy, with a strong interest in food and grocery delivery services.

Requirements:

• Strong and confident communication skills

• Fluency in English required. Fluency in Arabic is plus!

• Detail-oriented

• Strong analytical skills (basic use of excel formulas is required)
