About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Paid Search and App Specialist to support the growth of our global Performance Marketing program. The role is pivotal in meeting our revenue and efficiency targets, with responsibility for driving strong performance against Paid Search and App targets globally.
What you'll be doing
Strategy: Work with the Paid Media Director and channel specialists to support the development and execution of Paid Search and App strategies. Contribute to channel roadmaps and help deliver revenue and efficiency targets, balancing short-term performance with longer-term growth objectives.
Performance management: Be hands-on in our accounts, optimising complex, high-spending global programs across Google Ads (Search & UAC) and Apple Search Ads (ASA). Support account structures, campaign design, and bidding strategies to maximise ROI and incremental growth.
Industry trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in Paid Search, App, and digital marketing. Build relationships with platform partners to identify new opportunities, ensuring we are first to test and adopt emerging products and betas.
Testing and optimisation: Suggest and execute A/B and incrementality tests across campaigns to drive continuous learning and performance improvement. Partner with Data Science to measure and validate impact.
Data analysis: Use enterprise analytics tools (e.g. Looker) to analyse performance and identify insights. Translate data into actionable recommendations for investment decisions and optimisation. Analyse competitor activity and market trends, making recommendations to strengthen our position.
Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to help deliver technical improvements (e.g. feed optimisation, automation, tracking enhancements, creative optimisation) that improve campaign efficiency and scalability.
Budget management: Take ownership of tracking and pacing allocated budgets, ensuring planned spend is achieved and proactively raising any variances with clear context and recommendations.
Communication: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, simplifying complexity and building confidence in recommendations.
Requirements
Technical expertise: 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Google Ads (Search, UAC) and Apple Search Ads (ASA) campaigns. Experience with automation, scripts, and ad platform APIs is a strong plus.
Analytical skills: Highly analytical and data-driven, comfortable working with performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend optimisations. Experience with enterprise tools (e.g. Looker) or advanced spreadsheets is beneficial.
Experience: Experience managing complex, high-spend campaigns across multiple markets or product lines, ideally within e-commerce, technology, or marketplace environments.
Growth mindset: Strong communicator with curiosity and ambition to continuously improve. Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Bias for action: Proactive problem solver who takes ownership and drives measurable results.
Test and learn mindset: Embraces experimentation and iterative optimisation to deliver sustained growth.
