About the role
As Value Marketing Associate, Promotions and Operations you will directly report to the Head of Value & Promotions Marketing for the UK and Ireland. You will be working across various marketing teams to ensure alignment of the promotional calendar, and end-to-end execution of our promotional strategy. As part of your role you will also be responsible for identifying future growth opportunities to experiment within our promotions taking into account business priorities, past performance of promotions, and market trends, whilst keeping up-to-date the information about campaign execution and results
You will work cross-functionally to define processes that improve our customer experience, as well as executing our promotional plan opportunities that improve the way that promotions are executed at Deliveroo. The role requires strong analytical and organisational skills to deliver actionable recommendations across a number of projects.
What you'll be doing
- Champion the consumer voice by delivering plans that offer great value to customers
- Align promotional plans between different central and local marketing teams.
- Implement and execute our UKI Marketing Promotional Calendar, ensuring best in class execution and relevant communication
- Own weekly reporting on in flight campaign performance and post campaign analysis to understand metrics of success and identifying improvement areas and opportunities to experiment
- Lead our Test and Learn agenda for promotions in the UK and Ireland
- Lead and develop our Partner Hub and promotional offers, building recommendations and playbooks to maximise our Partner Growth
- Keep on top of competitor trends and activity to strengthen plans
- Own our CRM calendar execution
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in Marketing role
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- You’re both analytical & commercial and you enjoy interpreting data to develop insight/consumer-led marketing strategy. Comfortable with analytical tools like excel.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and can manage multiple cross-departmental stakeholders; confident communicating at all levels
- Ability to adapt and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
- You have a self-starter attitude and you’re able to thrive in a fast-paced matrixed organisation with constant change.
- You have a proven track record in making things happen - delivering results quickly and efficiently.
