Head of UK/Global Operations Strategy

“I joined Deliveroo at the start of 2016, fresh out of my MBA. Working with a phenomenal team, I identified opportunities to drive efficiencies and made impactful changes in the UK. After a successful first year, I transitioned to Head of Global Operations Strategy, looking at our newly launched international markets. This role allowed me to apply successful strategies from the UK to other regions, broadening my impact to a global scale.”

“After having my first child, I returned to an exciting new challenge as VP of Consumer, setting up new teams dedicated to representing our consumers within Deliveroo. I focused on understanding our consumers, defining our proposition to them, and ensuring we delivered on our promises. This role allowed me to explore a different side of the business and build essential teams from the ground up.”

Head of London Driver Operations Manager

“I started my life at Deliveroo in its early years, just as we were entering a period of hyper growth. The company was very much a start up at this time and so my role was incredibly varied. This ranged from building delivery boxes, through driver engagement to operational performance planning and analysis. I immediately felt at home at the company and knew this would be somewhere I could make a career.”

2015
Operations
London, UK
Head of UK Planning and Performance

“I took over accountability for all UK planning and performance which involved running a large team that oversaw operational performance for the whole of the UK. The company was becoming more sophisticated at this time, and it was a great opportunity to hone my data analysis alongside management skills.”

Product Manager

“My time in operations meant that I was very in-tune with the needs and wishes of the rider fleet. I took an opportunity to move into product management on the rider app and use this knowledge to build tools and features, making many major improvements to the app over the five years I spent in this role.”

“I’m currently leading a product group in the Restaurants team, using the management skills I learned in operations and my product management experience to help junior product managers to execute successfully.”

Site Manager

“My career path has been anything but linear. From dairy farming to robotic operations, I’ve always thrived in diverse environments and new challenges. So I fit in well when I started my Deliveroo journey as a Site Manager within their dark-store program, Hop. In this role, I built impactful data dashboards that were used globally. At Deliveroo, data is more than just numbers – it’s about real-world impact.”

2022
Site Operations Analyst

“In December of the same year, I transitioned to a Site Operations Analyst role. This moved my work from a site level to global level, spanning two departments – Hop and Editions (dark-kitchens). I explore customer trends, employee insights and more, bridging the gap between data and on-the-ground operations. This dynamic approach and start-up vibe keeps things exciting. Deliveroo appreciates the fresh ideas that come from diverse backgrounds, which resonates deeply with my own perspective.”
