London
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Central London team. Central London is Deliveroo's heartland, spanning a diverse restaurant scene. You will lead a team of Territory Managers, working cross-functionally to refine localized commercial strategies and elevate partner performance.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Lead and develop a field team: Line manage and coach a team of up to six Territory Managers, setting territory-level strategies to retain and grow the best local selection.
Drive regional commercial performance: Set macro and micro territory KPIs, boosting partner performance through advertising sales, local visibility, and co-marketing initiatives.
Optimise partner operational health: Ensure your team actively tracks and improves restaurant operational metrics to enhance marketplace supply and customer experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales Managers and Client Partners to identify cuisine gaps, win key accounts, and build long-term commercial relationships.
Provide strategic market insights: Serve as the internal voice of the London territory, delivering on-the-ground context and market intelligence to senior leadership.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Proven commercial leadership: Demonstrated line management experience, with a track record of leading, coaching, and developing commercial or account management teams.
Commercial and strategic capability: Strong problem-solving ability with experience interpreting data to devise, implement, and track territory growth strategies.
Senior stakeholder influence: Excellent presentation and communication skills across face-to-face, virtual, and written channels, with the ability to influence internal and external leaders.
Agility and problem-solving: Ability to take initiative, adapt quickly in dynamic environments, and proactively mitigate commercial or operational risks.
CRM and software proficiency: Hands-on experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms to oversee pipeline and team performance.
Nice to Have
Field sales management: Direct line management experience overseeing field sales, field account management, or territory-based teams.
Multilingual capabilities: Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, or Bahasa/Malay.
