Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and execution-focused Head of Finance Integration for a 12–18 month interim assignment, following the acquisition of Deliveroo by DoorDash.
This is an exciting hands-on opportunity to drive change and leave a legacy for the function and the business This role will lead the finance work-streams of the integration, taking a pre-defined outline plan and turning it into a fully executable programme of work.
You will be responsible for bringing together the right subject matter experts within finance and more broadly, ensuring that finance systems, data, processes, and controls are integrated to support the business and group-level requirements. Strong stakeholder engagement is critical.
This is not a project management role. The successful candidate will be expected to have strong working knowledge of the operation of finance functions end to end.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Integration Execution
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the finance integration plan, ensuring execution against timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
Act as the accountable lead for driving integration of data sets within finance systems, controls, processes, and reporting structures.
Coordinate subject matter experts across finance (e.g., Tax, F&S, FP&A, Reporting, Operations and Treasury) to deliver workstreams at pace.
Work with technical experts to ensure alignment and readiness for systems integration, data model harmonisation, and SoX controls implementation.
Provide structured updates to finance leadership and stakeholders; flag and resolve blockers proactively.
Data & Systems Integration
Oversee integration of financial data sets across both organisations to enable consolidated reporting, analysis, and operational insight.
Ensure data readiness and integrity for both internal stakeholders and group-level reporting.
Partner with Technology, Data Science and finance systems teams to align architecture and data flows.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Qualifications
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 10+ years' experience in senior finance roles.
Proven track record in executing finance integrations in post-acquisition settings, ideally within tech, scale-up, or fast-paced environments.
Strong hands-on experience in data-driven finance, including working closely with systems and data architecture teams.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and financial data models would be helpful but not required.
