Groups within Commercial

Regional Growth

The Regional Growth area of Deliveroo in the UK and Ireland focuses on driving local growth and market share through on-the-ground teams across five key regions.

Each region is led by a Regional Director responsible for P&L and midmarket restaurant performance, supported by Regional Managers, City Managers, Account Managers, and Business Development Managers who manage local operations, restaurant portfolios, and new partner acquisition. The team also includes specialized functions like Editions (delivery-only kitchens that help brands expand efficiently), the Chinese category team (enhancing Chinese food offerings), and the Packaging & Partnerships team (offering cost-saving services and products to restaurant partners).

National Accounts

The National Accounts team at Deliveroo manages the company’s largest and most strategic restaurant and grocery partnerships across the UK.

Organised into five specialist PODs—Key Accounts, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Casual Dining, Coffee & Bakery (CDCB), and Grocery—the team drives performance and growth for major national brands. Key Accounts includes high-performing chains across 28 cuisines, from breakfast staples like Pret and Starbucks to lunch and dinner favorites like Itsu and Franco Manca. The QSR team oversees global giants such as McDonald’s, KFC, and Subway, while the Casual Dining group manages exclusive partnerships with beloved sit-down restaurants. The Grocery POD handles everything from supermarkets (e.g., Sainsbury’s, Asda) to convenience and retail partners like Boots and Co-op, ensuring customers have fast access to essentials, snacks, and wellness products. Each POD is led by dedicated Client Partners focused on delivering best-in-class partner relationships and consumer value.

SMB

Deliveroo’s SMB team, based in Manchester, supports small and medium-sized restaurants, grocers, and retail stores across the UK&I and EU.

The team is structured across four key functions: Sales, which drives growth by onboarding new partners; New Partner Experience (NPX), which ensures smooth setup and early success; Account Management, which helps partners optimise operations and grow through marketing and campaigns; and Retention, which provides extra support to help partners sustain and strengthen their relationship with Deliveroo.

New Verticals

The New Verticals team at Deliveroo oversees Grocery, HOP, Retail, Site Ops, and Real Estate. Grocery has been a core growth area since 2016, with partnerships across major global retailers like Co-op, Carrefour, and Waitrose.

HOP, Deliveroo’s rapid delivery supermarket launched in 2021, offers a tech-driven, ultra-fast shopping experience. Retail, introduced in late 2023, expands the marketplace beyond food, with partners like Screwfix and Ann Summers. Site Ops manages 75 Deliveroo-owned HOP and Editions sites globally, ensuring daily operational excellence and serving as a hub for innovation testing. Meanwhile, the Real Estate and Workplace team oversees all property operations—from acquisitions to facilities—across HOP, Editions, and corporate offices, aiming to provide top-tier environments for both customers and employees.

Deliveroo for Work

Deliveroo for Work offers tailored food solutions for businesses, enabling companies to provide employees with flexible, expense-free meal options. Operating across eight markets, the service allows employers to assign custom food allowances to employees, who can then order from thousands of restaurants and grocery partners via the Deliveroo app.

The platform supports both regular and one-off allowances, which can be scheduled for specific times (e.g. during late shifts or team lunches). Company administrators have full control over budgets and usage rules and receive monthly invoices with clear breakdowns of spend. In addition to streamlined billing, clients benefit from a dedicated account manager and access to exclusive features and support, making Deliveroo for Work an easy and effective way to enhance employee wellbeing, reward teams, and boost productivity—whether employees are in the office, working remotely, or on the go.
