Role Overview
We are seeking a Group Manager of Technical Programme Management to lead our global Restaurant Integrations function — an engineering-led, cross-functional team responsible for enabling and supporting API-driven partnerships that are critical to Deliveroo’s operational success and long-term platform scalability. Currently, the “integrated” order volume makes up around 58% of the entire Restaurants Order Volume, which makes the Restaurant Integrations Team’s activities immensely important.
This is a hybrid leadership role at the intersection of customer success, stakeholder management, technical consulting and project management. You’ll be accountable for ensuring the successful management of the vast set of API-integrated partners — particularly with middleware and POS providers, key integrated brands, as well as strategic restaurant technology partners. The team you’ll lead is composed of project managers, technical consultants, solution advisers, and support specialists. They are not engineers, but they are in command of all platforms and technical processes relevant to integrations, and are customer-obsessed and operationally knowledgeable about our top integration partners.
For this role, you will need to balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in the most complex integrations, escalations, and platform decisions. This is a high-trust, high-impact role where you'll be expected to operate with autonomy, influence across departments, and elevate how we support and scale our integration partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Scope of Work
Lead the global Restaurant Technical Integrations function, setting strategic direction across customer success, professional services and partner support responsibilities.
Drive platform and operational impact at the technology group and company level by ensuring partner integrations are aligned with Deliveroo’s business and technical vision.
Deliver high-impact initiatives that improve the scalability, quality, and reliability of integrations — and by extension, restaurant operations and customer experience.
Establish framework for our Integration Partners’ Success & Technical Enablement
Ensure integration partners fully understand, adopt, and correctly implement Deliveroo’s APIs and technical standards.
Oversee how the team provides guidance, support, and enablement to integration partners and ensures those partners in turn support our restaurants with quality and consistency.
Monitor and uphold partner performance — surfacing issues proactively and driving long-term improvement plans where necessary.
Design a tiered servicing model in how we operate with Integrations Partners, including SLAs and contractual model and the level of TIM support we invest in each tier
Define our portfolio allocation choices as to which Integrations Partners receive which tier of account servicing
Define Deliveroo’s integrations strategy and roadmap
Determine Deliveroo’s choices as to where we want to play and how we want to operate in terms of integrating with different providers of restaurants’ technology stacks that supports our business strategy and wider technical vision
Define our goals and roadmap (both short and long term) for the Restaurant Integrations function, working in close collaboration with Product, Engineering and Commercial leaders to ensure strong alignment with wider business and technology plans
Own investment cases where incremental resource is required to realise unrealised value opportunities within the integrations landscape
Ensure the Integrations team understand our business strategy and functional product & technical roadmap and are able to cascade this into their personal workplans
Drive high standards of operational excellence within technical integrations team
Own delivery of partner onboarding programs, rollout projects, and complex integration initiatives across multiple markets.
Shape the team’s playbooks, tooling, processes, and documentation — ensuring efficient delivery and high partner satisfaction.
Shape product decisions by ensuring Product and Engineering teams are considering Integration requirements early in the development process and providing structured, data-informed feedback from the integration partner ecosystem.
Deliver high-impact initiatives that improve the scalability, quality, and reliability of integrations — and by extension, restaurant operations and customer experience.
Internal Alignment & Influence
Lead, mentor and develop a cross-functional team of project managers, technical consultants, solution advisers, and support specialists.
Be the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Commercial, Legal, and Support — ensuring alignment and accountability in how integrators are prioritised, managed and maintained.
Represent the Integrations team’s work and needs in strategic planning, roadmap discussions, and incident escalations.
Shape product decisions by providing structured, data-informed feedback from the partner ecosystem.
Partner & Platform Strategy
Build and own relationships with high-value integration partners — working closely with their technical and commercial leadership to ensure long-term mutual success.
Act as the escalation point for critical integration issues, complex architectural misalignments, or partner non-compliance.
Drive initiatives that reduce integration friction and improve partner self-serve capabilities.

Team Development: You build a high-performance culture, mentor future leaders, and retain top talent across functions.
