THE ROLE
The Senior Grocery Marketing Associate will be an integral part of the marketing team,reporting to the Head of Grocery and Restaurant Marketing. You will collaborate closely with the Groceries Commercial team to ensure marketing initiatives effectively achieve business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grocery annual marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute the annual promotional plan to drive orders across all Grocery segments.
- Identify new opportunities for seasonal events, building on past campaign learnings, and implementing a strong test-and-learn strategy.
- Leverage our extensive grocery partner network to deliver targeted messaging to consumers at national and local levels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with grocery brands to build joint marketing and activation plans, supported by comprehensive 360° communication strategies.
- Collaborate with the broader France marketing team to develop Grocery & Restaurant campaigns for seasonal events throughout the year.
- Work with partners and the commercial team to secure deals with key grocery partners and ensure Commercial Teams are informed and engaged to maximize campaign success.
- Conduct post-campaign analyses to share insights with other markets.
- Grocery Merchandising:
- Optimize grocery menu merchandising (categories, top seller positioning, images, descriptions) and curate selections in response to demand shifts.
- Collaborate with the central Product team to implement new functionalities.
- Work with commercial teams to implement new merchandising strategies and optimize Grocery conversion.
- Develop and implement the Grocery in-store signage strategy, partner plan, and key assets, working with the Commercial Team to identify key brands for signage rollout.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing promotion management.
- Experience in a retail/FMCG environment with strong digital or e-commerce knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong marketing customer sensibility and passion for food.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Curious and creative, with superb relationship management skills and the ability to build trust with partners and be persuasive.
- Autonomous and comfortable with responsibility, capable of managing projects end-to-end.
- Hands-on and solution-oriented.
- Native French Speaker and fluency in English required.
