Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Management Intern to assist in sourcing leads from competitors, as well as cleaning and managing data within our CRM system. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in  managing and organizing data within a professional setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn about data processes and CRM systems. 

THIS ROLE WILL BE AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sourcing and Scraping:
    • Identify and gather leads from competitor websites and other relevant online sources
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of the collected data.
  • Data Cleaning and Management:
    • Review and clean data in the CRM system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Update and maintain CRM records, including lead information, contact details, and communication logs.
    • De-duplicate and merge records as necessary to maintain a clean database.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure data integrity and optimal use of CRM.
    • Communicate findings and progress regularly with the team.

 

What to expect:

  • 1-1 coaching with a Sales Team Lead
  • Inclusion in sales team trainings related to general business acumen
  • Exposure to and training of how to use different data resources and tools 

 

Requirements:

  • Passionate about people
  • Enjoy the sales process
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data cleaning and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable handling data
  • Fluency in English is a must
