The People Tech team is a cross-functional team, built to create and execute a strategic vision for the systems we use at Deliveroo - from defining the long-term road map and requirements for the business to launching and supporting those systems internally. We manage strategic partnerships with key vendors and the internal Deliveroo teams to ensure we can optimise the systems we use effectively.

As a member of the People Tech Team, you will be expected to drive forward the platform used by every employee within Deliveroo. The global optimisation of the Workday system and development of our system architecture is key to the smooth running of Deliveroo’s global HR processes and each Deliveroo employee’s lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to provide your expertise on Workday and bring your deep technical knowledge to add value to our programme of work.

Reporting to the People Tech Lead, the Workday Specialist will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining the People Tech Systems for all countries in scope and for new territories that Deliveroo expands into. The successful candidate will have experience with Workday Core HCM design principles, Workday Security, Talent & Performance, Absence and Compensation. You will help us get the most out of Workday and other People Tech to meet project requirements and work cross-functionally across the business. You will support the People Tech Team with our testing and deployment plans. 

Skills and Responsibilities:
● You’ll work as an integral part of the People Tech team for business as usual and projects
● Review and maintain existing configure
● Responsible for Workday and other People System system-related queries and problems
● Suggest improvements and advise on best practices, test future WD releases and look for ways to increase efficiency
● Ensure the Deliveroo People Team and wider business can leverage the information in the Workday or Deputy or other People Tech
● Provide post-production and BAU support to the business.
● Manage stakeholders throughout the implementation and support phases of our projects 

Must be proficient in Workday Core HCM and Workday Reporting functionality 
● Solid and reference able experience working with Workday in a People Tech, People Systems or HRIS team
● You must have at least 3 years of experience in Workday HCM and Compensation
● You must be a WD Reporting & Calculated Fields Expert
● You must be highly proficient in WD Security.
● Workday HCM Implementation or Pro Certification (past or present)
● Experience with People Tech/HRIS design principles
● Knowledge of HR Integration impacts

Preferred, but not required:

● A demonstrable history of working in a Workday Business-as-Usual cycle for a technology-driven organisation.
● Demonstrable experience supporting successful Workday implementation projects across the entire development lifecycle
● Experience working with WD Integrations
● Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & performance experience is desirable
● Knowledge of Workforce Management systems is desirable
